Vaughn Early Education Center

Vaughn Early Education is proud to be serving the Pacoima community since 1964. Vaughn EEC provides services to children ages 2-5. The curriculum used on the site is a comprehensive, research-based curriculum that features exploration and discovery as a way of learning.

We are committed to providing a positive, safe and stimulating environment for children to learn, where all are valued. We intend that all children should enjoy their learning, achieve their potential and become independent life-long learners.

NATURE EXPLORER

Vaughn Early Education is a Certified Nature Explorer Outdoor Classroom school community. Our Nature explorer Outdoor classroom provides an integral part of student’s daily learning through Nature. Vaughn EEC’s pledge to connecting each student’s love with nature and learning.

COGNITIVELY GUIDED INSTRUCTION (CGI)

Is a framework of thinking about how students learn math. At Vaughn EEC students develop their math understanding by problem solving math problems in ways that make sense to them. Each student comes in with some math knowledge, and activities are provided to support further learning through daily activities.
